4D Healthware provides smart, individualized and automated suggestions throughout the day to help people live a healthier life. The software is designed to improve the health of the individual by translating data into personalized, actionable ‘nudges’ that help consumers with weight, activity and chronic disease management.
Azuba is a cloud-based health information network for patients, caregivers, physicians, hospitals and medical researchers. Azuba enables patients to aggregate all of their medical records from all of their health providers in a secure data vault and to be able to share their records with their doctor before their next appointment. Azuba also promises to enable personalized medicine by adding family medical and genomic data to help physicians improve both diagnostic and treatment accuracy rates over time.
Benecure has created a platform that helps users manage chronic conditions using smart devices and gamification. The system is designed to promote intrinsic motivation and is initially focused on hypertension.
ClaimDocs is a centralized platform for engaging physicians who provide medical second opinions to the workers’ compensation and personal injury insurance markets. The company’s technology helps identify the appropriate provider for each referral while streamlining the process to reduce cost and cycle time.
doc&i is a prescription pricing software for healthcare providers that ensures patients receive the best value for their prescriptions prior to arriving at the pharmacy. doc&i integrates pricing data from multiple sources using a proprietary database and algorithm to deliver point-of-care, real-time prescription pricing and coverage transparency to healthcare providers within their existing workflow.
Double Helix Group develops telehealth solutions for the prevention and self-management of chronic disease. With their partners, Helix Medical Group, the company provides affordable care online. Together, they support engagement between regular visits with primary care providers.
MedMatch is a welcome disruption to the costly and inefficient process of hiring healthcare professionals. In contrast to the dominant manual or semi-automated modes of recruiting, MedMatch offers employers and job seekers an intuitive but richly featured technology to speed up the workflow of connecting qualified candidates with the right employers. The company offers the only cloud-based service for medical facilities to source, qualify, verify and on-board medical professionals seeking employment opportunities – all within a single system with full visibility of the entire process.
NanoCytomics is focused on making dramatic improvements in patient survival rates and costs through the early detection of leading forms of cancer when treatments are most effective. The company is developing and commercializing non-invasive, low-cost, easy-to-administer pre-screening tests using partial wave spectroscopy (PWS) technology developed at Northwestern University in Vadim Backman’s biophotonics laboratory.

Purple Binder connects patients with services that address the social determinants of health, such as counseling, housing and food pantries. After the connection is made, Purple Binder closes the loop and verifies that the patient received the services.
