Overview

MATTER has developed a program to strengthen healthcare businesses in Chicago’s West Side and South Side communities by connecting them to digital-forward customers. Small business owners will have the opportunity to participate in a sprint that consists of three virtual marketing workshops over the span of one week.

The first sprint will run during the week of September 19, 2022. Specific times for each workshop are to be determined. The second sprint will occur during the week of September 26, 2022. Participants can choose one sprint to register for. See the following timeline for more information.

Who should register?

Professionals working to advance healthcare and wellness throughout the west and south sides of Chicago. We encourage those working at social services organizations, clinics, community centers and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) to register.

Why is MATTER focusing this program on healthcare organizations on the west and south sides of Chicago?
While MATTER has a global footprint, we have been located in Chicago since we opened in 2015. As the pandemic has posed countless challenges for all businesses, we want to provide local healthcare businesses guidance on establishing an online presence to expand their reach and impact. Furthermore, we are dedicated to strengthening small businesses and narrowing the equity gap for female founders and entrepreneurs of color across Chicago.

Will participating companies receive access to additional MATTER resources?
Following the completion of the program, participants will have the opportunity to sign up for a one-on-one meeting with faculty on the content presented. Hours will be at the discretion of the instructor and are not guaranteed.

How much does it cost to participate in this program?
There is no cost to participate.

What if I can’t make one of the workshops?
To sign up for a one-on-one session with faculty after the workshops, you must attend all three workshops. If you are unable to attend a workshop, you can register for the following week and attend the workshop you missed.

How do I join the workshops?
You will receive an email with the workshop schedule and links to join the workshops via Zoom.
