Overview

The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) in collaboration with MATTER, the Chicago-based global healthcare incubator, are proud to present the fourth annual U.S. Market Expansion program aimed at preparing a cohort of Korean healthcare companies for U.S. market success.

Benefits of participation:

In the ensuing four-month program, MATTER will support four small-medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups focused on successful business landing in the U.S. MATTER will tailor the program based on the Korean companies’ individual needs and roadmaps.

Program participants will:

  • Receive access to programming, resources and mentorship from the MATTER team, executives in residence and mentor clinic to advance their product, sales and fundraising in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem
  • Receive a one-year membership to MATTER
  • Engage with other cutting-edge SMEs and startups
  • Gain exposure to the MATTER community
  • Pitch to potential partners, investors and industry influencers at a showcase event

Select SMEs and startups will also participate in a four- to six-week validation study with health system partners (subject to MATTER and validation study partner approval). SMEs, validation study partners and MATTER will jointly design the problem statement for the validation study which may focus on, but is not limited to, technical, cost or usability.
