Reimagine primary care
Technology has opened the door to new possibilities for primary care. Advocate Aurora Health has partnered with MATTER to inspire, explore and source novel solutions that:
Increase access to care. Provide innovative digital and virtual options to extend care beyond office-based primary care visits — allowing patients to get care where they are and exactly when they need it.
Improve the patient experience. Empower consumers to take an active role in managing their own health through educational and consumer engagement tools.
Reduce the overall cost of care. Decrease the time providers spend on administrative work, enabling them to spend more time where it matters most: with patients.
The winning team will receive a $10,000 prize and a six-month MATTER membership. One or more finalists will each receive curated sessions with subject matter experts at Advocate Aurora Health who can provide strategic and tactical guidance on implementing the product or solution.
This challenge is open to existing startups of all stages. Submissions can range from early stage concepts to on-market solutions developed by seasoned entrepreneurs or industry innovators.
Technologies of interest include, but are not limited to, telehealth, patients portals, mobile clinical decision support, wearables and IoT, artificial intelligence and big data.
Read the Health Tech Venture Challenge FAQ for more information. There will be an optional information session held on October 23, 2018. RSVP here.
Submit a three-minute pitch video by November 12, 2018 at 5:00pm CDT. Three to five finalists will be selected to participate in an optional incubation period at MATTER, where they can refine their value proposition and perfect their pitch through MATTER workshops and mentor hours.
The incubation period will culminate in a pitch day on December 11, 2018, where finalists will present their solutions to the Advocate Aurora Health executives and the MATTER community. The event will be held at MATTER in Chicago, IL. Finalists must be present to win.
