Overview
As the leader of an innovative healthcare startup, you are looking for a competitive advantage to build and scale your business. Enter Momentum — an application-based accelerator for MATTER member companies that offers a structured, cohort-based approach to advance their objectives.
The three-month accelerator will systematically step through the fundamentals of scaling digital health companies from March to May 2023. The program will be led by MATTER Venture Acceleration Fellows Pam York and Jason Smith and provide robust entrepreneurial and business development from exclusive workshops and tailored all-cohort programming.
Accelerator details
Selected startups will participate in a multi-faceted program designed to develop the capabilities of the individual as well as the business. The program components will include:

- Exclusive workshops comprehensively covering focus areas important to startups at all stages and how competencies need to evolve as companies grow.
- Private one-on-one coaching from their assigned lead mentor will occur every month for each startup, whose CEO may invite any other company staff as they wish.
- Accelerator-wide activities including a kickoff, exclusive guest speakers and a final showcase to pitch to the MATTER community.
Momentum will build competency in five core areas:
- Leadership development
- Product-market fit
- Go-to-market strategy
- Business modeling
