About Elsa Science

Elsa Science is now commercializing a solution in the United States for Rheumatic Care where patient-reported outcomes, from patients’ real world, are monitored remotely and utilized in care management by health care providers. Elsa Science’s solution extends patient care beyond the clinic and offers richer assessments for quicker interventions. Future innovation includes utilizing scientific research and quality registry data to realize features aimed at finding the right treatment to the right patient at the right time. The objectives are to drive the transition to value-based care, enabling population health management as well as precision health on an individual level.

About the role

US Managing Director

Location: Remote

We are now looking for a Managing Director to lead and accelerate our achievements in the United States.

What you’ll be responsible for as the Managing Director:
  • Running the US business, with responsibility for P&L and cash flow
  • Owning the strategic direction and growth for the US business, setting the short-term priorities as well as long-term strategy - Continue to develop business models together with the Elsa Science team and when the timing is right identifying new business opportunities and translating them into new features and revenue streams
  • Keep developing the value propositions of our solution for the US market
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product to improve and strengthen product-market fit and optimize the US commercial model
  • Serve as an external spokesperson and champion for the business; including involvement in shaping and securing key partnerships
  • Regularly report updates to the Board and corporate stakeholders regarding progress, governance, and further investments
  • Participate in fundraising
  • Build and retain a fantastic US team & team work, while nurturing an international culture and strong collaboration with HQ in Sweden
  • Be an ambassador for the values of Elsa Science both internally and externally
What we expect from you:
  • Experienced entrepreneur/intrapreneur, with a track record of launching new health tech services/products and exploring new growth areas targeting group clinics, health systems or payers
  • Experience in a B2B/B2B2C environment
  • P&L responsibility at MD level with a track-record of growth
  • Experience of building a health tech service/product either as a standalone venture, or within a corporate setting
  • A hands-on mentality and willingness to work operationally to add as much value as possible, particularly up until an A-round when the team continues to be small
  • Proven track record of building up and leading high caliber multidisciplinary teams

Location
