Inaugural MATTER Momentum accelerator cohort announced

Twelve companies will participate in a dynamic, six-month program

The MATTER Momentum accelerator, built exclusively for MATTER member companies, announces the twelve companies in the inaugural cohort. The six-month program will systematically step through the fundamentals of growing digital health companies and run from February to August 2022.

The accelerator is an integral initiative of the MATTER collaborative as it will bring together key stakeholders from the healthcare ecosystem in an immersive, innovative environment. MATTER Venture Fellow Tom Lee will lead the accelerator with further support from curated mentors, guest speakers and exclusive MATTER workshops.

ConnectCareHero is a social determinants of health platform that helps organizations tackle social isolation by providing culturally relevant activities and wellness checks for adults age 65 and older.

Partum Health
Partum Health is pioneering a new approach to caring for families as they start and grow, delivering collaborative, whole family support designed for the next generation of parents.

Pillar
Pillar is the API for health coaching, providing companies with the infrastructure and white-labeled provider workforce to integrate health coaching into any offering. Their tech-enabled platform improves client engagement and health outcomes by powering seamless virtual care from experts in lifestyle medicine and behavior change — all for less than staffing, building and managing a coaching experience in-house.

RhythmScience
RhythmScience creates cardiac disease management automation software utilizing implanted and wearable sensor data to improve patient outcomes while increasing revenue collection for providers.

Skypiatrist
Skypiatrist allows mental health providers to build their own telemedicine practice, taking care of everything from licensing and credentialing to patient acquisition and billing. Founded by a board-certified psychiatrist and a seasoned entrepreneur, Skypiatrist is growing rapidly with over 1,000 monthly patient sessions, 24 providers and availability in over 18 U.S. states.

Soundable Health
Soundable Health is a digital health startup with AI-enabled tech that identifies symptoms of diseases out of sound. Soundable Health captures audible biomarkers of urinary and respiratory health through smartphones, bringing medical insights closer to patients and empowering them to manage their health.

Stabl
Stabl is moving postoperative rehabilitation from the clinic to the living room using live motion analysis on a smartphone and sharing updates with patients’ doctors at the operating hospitals.

Supply Clinic
Supply Clinic provides a hybrid, online marketplace and procurement tools to help dental practices buy and manage supplies.

The Collabratory
The Collaboratory makes technical and scientific data more discoverable and reusable. Their discovery engine helps life science researchers find the unstructured information they need without an expensive and time-consuming data integration process. They designed an AI-powered platform to reduce research and development costs and accelerate scientific innovation. Their team includes natural language processing experts, technologists, scientists and businesspeople, and they’re all passionate about using AI to improve human welfare.

Yumlish
Yumlish is creating a low-cost, accessible and AI-powered cultural nutritional therapy solution for minorities with diabetes, addressing socioeconomic barriers to dietary adherence.
