MATTER and KOSME launch U.S. Market Validation Study Program for Korean SMEs

June 9, 2025, CHICAGO, IL, and SEOUL, KR — MATTER, the premier healthcare incubator and innovation hub, in collaboration with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), has launched the U.S. Market Validation Study Program to prepare a cohort of Korean healthcare companies for U.S. market success. This year, MATTER will help small-medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups validate clinical, technical and business elements of their product and company by working with established partners.

Over the past four years, MATTER and KOSME have partnered to help over a dozen SMEs launch in the U.S., helping them navigate the nuances of the American healthcare system and meet potential customers, partners and investors. This year, the three-month program will support five SMEs and startups focused on successful business landing in the U.S.

Participants in the KOSME U.S. Market Validation Study program will gain a suite of valuable benefits designed to accelerate their growth in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem. Through access to expert-led programming, targeted resources and mentorship, participants will be equipped to refine their strategy and advance their product for the U.S. market. Each company will take part in a validation study to strengthen its business case and gain critical insights. Participants will also receive a one-year membership to MATTER, joining a vibrant community of healthcare innovators. Along the way, they’ll engage with other cutting-edge startups, expand their network and gain visibility through exclusive opportunities — including a final showcase where they’ll pitch to potential partners, investors and key industry influencers.
