MATTER announces third class of Momentum accelerator

Six startups selected to participate in digital health accelerator

August 28, 2023, CHICAGO — MATTER, the premier healthcare incubator and innovation hub, has selected six digital health startups for the third class of Momentum, an application-based accelerator for MATTER members that offers a structured, cohort-based approach to advance business objectives. The third Momentum class will be all about scaling digital health companies and sponsored by MDisrupt.

The program will be led by MATTER Venture Acceleration Fellows Jason Smith and Pamela York, who have both successfully exited multiple companies and have a wealth of experience in mentoring and investing in healthcare startups. They will systematically step the startups through the fundamentals of scaling digital health companies — with focuses on operations, sales frameworks, using advisory boards and developing effective exit strategies.

The program will culminate in a virtual final showcase on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
