Thirteen startups selected to join third cohort of the Paratus Digital Health Accelerator, part of BARDA Accelerator Network

May 19, 2026, CHICAGO, IL — MATTER, the premier healthcare incubator and innovation hub, is pleased to announce the third cohort of the Paratus Digital Health Accelerator program.

The third accelerator will feature digital health solutions that improve the continuum of clinical care and enhance preparedness and response to public health emergencies due to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) incidents, pandemic influenza and emerging infectious diseases. Selection criteria included feasibility, scalability, market differentiation, startup capability and alignment with the program’s mission.

The following companies have been selected as Cohort 3 of the Paratus Digital Health Accelerator:

Ambient Insights
Ambient Insights is commercializing FlightPath, a patented two-minute mixed-reality assessment designed to detect clinical signs of mild traumatic brain injury using standard mobile devices, providing objective neurocognitive evaluations in field, sideline and mass-casualty settings.

AuriSense
AuriSense is developing a field-based assessment platform for traumatic brain injury in emergency and mass-casualty settings. Its ear-worn device uses a patent-pending sensor with machine-learning analytics to capture neural and autonomic physiological signals and deliver real-time triage recommendations in under two minutes.

Cerebro NeuroTech
Cerebro NeuroTech is building clinician-supervised AI decision-support software to make traumatic brain injury assessment faster, more objective and more accessible. Its Cerebro TBI AI Model transforms cognitive and physiological biomarkers into clinically reviewable triage outputs to help clinicians interpret early neurological risk with greater structure, speed and consistency.

Curie Dx
Curie Dx helps people and telehealth clinicians predict disease remotely using smartphone images and AI. Starting with influenza and strep throat, the company is building a suite of diagnostic tools across more than five conditions.

Curiva
Curiva is developing a first-in-class adjunctive cervical triage system designed to support faster next-step decisions after abnormal screening. Its goal is to reduce follow-up friction by providing a lower-burden, clinically actionable pathway that fits more naturally into the cervical care workflow.

HarmonIQ Biosciences
HarmonIQ Biosciences is building a continuous hormone monitoring platform that combines wearable biosensor technology, microneedle-based sensing and AI-driven analytics to provide real-time, longitudinal data on hormones such as estrogen, testosterone and cortisol — advancing care in fertility, menopause, metabolic health and precision medicine.

Health AI Platforms
Health AI Platforms is developing a resilient, interoperable deployment platform for clinical wearable-based digital health solutions. Its Continuous Clinical Alert System leverages wearable biosensors and AI to detect early physiological signs of deterioration from infectious diseases up to 17 hours in advance, supporting proactive triage and robust monitoring during public health emergencies.

MindMirror
MindMirror is an AI-enabled mobile platform that provides rapid, objective neurological decision support through analysis of pupillary light reflex behavior using a standard smartphone, supporting concussion and mild traumatic brain injury assessment in athletics, military, emergency response and healthcare environments.

mPulse Technologies
mPulse Technologies is developing next-generation sensing systems for accurate, non-invasive physiological monitoring, using multi-wavelength sensing and advanced signal analysis to improve oxygenation and biomarker monitoring under real-world conditions.

ParaDocs Health
ParaDocs Health is a revenue intelligence platform for value-based healthcare organizations that transforms clinical data into workflow-ready insights, giving care teams and executives real-time visibility into documentation, risk adjustment and quality opportunities across complex Medicare populations.

seqSight
seqSight empowers biological discovery and health innovation through advanced genomics models and generative AI, transforming data into actionable insights for researchers and clinicians.

StethX Microsystems
StethX Microsystems is commercializing SeismicPatch™, a wearable cardiopulmonary monitoring patch that uses AI to capture acoustic fingerprints of the heart and lungs, enabling continuous monitoring of the respiratory and cardiac system.

Ukali Health
Ukali Health brings together data from health records, wearables and imaging for the detection, prediction and monitoring of disease, connecting people, providers and caregivers with a transparent view of health.

During the 10-week virtual accelerator, participating companies will receive mentorship, exclusive resources and curriculum from subject matter experts to refine their value propositions and pitches. They will also gain access to relevant industry leaders. The program runs May 18 through July 31, 2026, and concludes with a virtual showcase on August 17. Read more here.
