Empowering diversity: Key lessons from Black and Latino-owned startups

Recently, MATTER convened with leaders from InHuevation, The National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives and The National Association of Health Services Executives for a conversation on how digital health and technology impact health equity in the Chicago innovation ecosystem and beyond.

Following opening remarks from Gyasi Chisley, PMP, FACHE, managing director and head of corporate healthcare at PNC, Philip Burton, founder of InHuevation, moderated a panel discussion with James Lott, PharmD, MPP, founder and CEO of Script Health, and Luis Suarez, founder and CEO of Sanarai. The discussion ran the gamut of healthcare equity topics, including addressing disparities in healthcare outcomes, expanding access to care in underserved areas and securing funding for future initiatives.
