MATTER and RSNA partner to connect startups with radiology leaders
MATTER will produce the Startup Showcase at RSNA 2019, bringing startup companies to the world’s largest radiology conference
Chicago, IL — MATTER, the premier healthcare incubator and innovation hub, today announced a partnership with the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), a non-profit organization that promotes excellence in patient care and healthcare delivery through education, research and technological innovation in medical imaging. MATTER has partnered with RSNA to produce the 2019 conference’s Startup Showcase, a collaboration designed to help emerging companies connect with customers and other industry professionals in the medical imaging space.
“We’re pleased to be working with the world’s leading voice in medical imaging,” said MATTER CEO Steven Collens. “By partnering with RSNA, we’ve opened a new door for health tech startups to connect with leaders in radiology who can help them advance their solutions.”
RSNA publishes four leading peer-reviewed journals and hosts the world’s largest medical imaging conference, drawing more than 700 exhibitors and 25,000 professional attendees from the radiology community to Chicago every year.
“We are committed to helping advance the most innovative solutions in radiology,” said John Jaworski, director of meetings and exhibition services at RSNA. “This collaboration with MATTER allows us to discover the startups with the most cutting-edge solutions in radiology and connect them with leaders who can propel their concepts forward.”
The Startup Showcase is open to early stage ventures with technologies in, but not limited to, medical imaging, 3D printing, artificial intelligence and mixed reality. By participating in the Startup Showcase at RSNA 2019, which takes place December 1–6 at McCormick Place in Chicago, emerging companies will have an opportunity to reach early adopters and key decision-makers in the medical imaging space.
