MATTER at HLTH 2019: Here’s what you need to know
The MATTER team is heading to Las Vegas!
We’re attending the second annual HLTH conference from October 27-30. This will be the largest presence that MATTER has ever had at an industry conference — we’re thrilled to be producing programming throughout the conference and hosting two (yes, two!) booths in the main exhibition space.
Read on to find out all there is to know about MATTER at HLTH and who we’re bringing with us. (Hint: Executives from AbbVie and Novo Nordisk, as well as some amazing startups.)
1. Explore the innovation practices of tomorrow by attending our special partner program.
One day a doctor will reach out to you before you even know you’re sick. Care will shift away from the episodic, reactive and impersonal healthcare paradigm we have today to a model that is continuous, predictive and holistic. In the not-too-distant future, patients will have a completely different dialogue with their healthcare providers, using digital technologies to diagnose and manage disease in a more precise, experiential and continuous fashion. Life sciences companies that are able to succeed in this new reality have already begun working to implement a culture of intrapreneurship and a practice of innovation that explores novel collaborations with payers, health systems and entrepreneurs. They are harnessing the power of these partnerships and are building upon their current capabilities to define and deliver new avenues of value for the future.
On Sunday morning, join MATTER for Pharma in the Future: How to Build an Innovation Practice Today to Become a Life Sciences Company for Tomorrow. The session will explore how life sciences companies can harness the power of novel collaborations with payers, health systems and entrepreneurs to define and deliver new avenues of value and how they are building their innovation capabilities today in order to ensure that they remain relevant tomorrow. Panelists will include leaders from AbbVie, Novo Nordisk, Closerlook and CapGemini.
2. Hear about the future of digital therapeutics from trailblazing innovators at a panel moderated by MATTER CEO Steven Collens.
Clinically validated, FDA approved and consumer verified digital therapies are changing the way providers prescribe treatments and are providing people with new routes to relief. In Therapy’s Gone Digital, MATTER CEO Steven Collens will moderate a panel with the innovators building the digital therapeutic companies of tomorrow. These experts will explore the proven successes and future plans for digital therapies that will improve outcomes. Panelists will include leaders from Akili Interactive, Happify Health, Headspace Health and Welldoc.
3. Visit our booths in the main exhibition hall and meet with selected innovators from the MATTER community.
The MATTER team will be in two locations in the main exhibition hall: booth #743 and #371. We hope you’ll stop by to say hello and check out the member startups that we’ve brought along with us.
Featured startups in booth #743 will include: Advocatia, Clara Health, Flare Health, Inference Analytics, Lumere, Medorion, Prepared Health, rMark Bio, Rx.health, Sense Diagnostics, Sympatic Health and TapCloud.
Featured startups in booth #371 will include: Bright Pink, Care Academy, Healthy Interactions, Level Ex, Method Health and Ondine Biomedical.
We’re looking forward to seeing you in Las Vegas! Not able to attend? Follow our live coverage across social and watch for our conference reflections on the blog.
