Six MATTER startups secured significant funding from venture capital and grants.
AMOpportunities received a majority-control growth investment.
AMOpportunities, a leading healthcare training platform, received a majority-control growth investment from AIM Equity Partners. The investment will help AMO bolster its leadership position in the healthcare education market by expanding the company’s platform into new clinical specialties while deepening its value for its current partners.
C the Signs raised $8 million.
C the Signs, an AI-based platform identifying patients at early risk of cancer, raised $8 million in funding from Khosla Ventures. The new capital will accelerate the company’s expansion from the U.K. — where it has already helped detect tens of thousands of cancers across the National Health Service, to the U.S.
CerTracker received a $10,000 grant.
CerTracker, a digital credential management platform, received a $10,000 grant and was named a top solution at the Heart of Innovation HBCU Challenge.
Enhanced Medical Nutrition raised $5 million in an oversubscribed Series A.
Enhanced Medical Nutrition, a food-as-medicine company, raised an oversubscribed $5 million Series A financing round led by dsm-firmenich Venturing and the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) arm of Ajinomoto Co., Inc. The funds will be used to scale the company’s ENROUTE® solution, an innovative nutrition program designed for dietary management after surgery.
machineMD announced Topcon Healthcare as their lead investor for a pre-Series A funding round.
machineMD, a medical device company at the forefront of neurodiagnostic innovation, announced Topcon Healthcare, Inc., a global leader in robotic diagnostics and digital solutions, as their lead investor for a pre-Series A funding round. With the investment, machineMD will integrate its objective functional neurodiagnostics with Topcon’s Harmony® digital health information platform.
Nimblemind.ai raised $2.5 million.
Nimblemind.ai, an AI-powered data infrastructure platform, raised $2.5 million in funding, led by Bread & Butter Ventures. With the funding, Nimblemind.ai plans to expand its specialty-specific AI models, enhance its platform’s capabilities and onboard more healthcare providers seeking to leverage AI for better patient outcomes.
Eight MATTER companies created impactful partnerships advancing their solutions, delivering care and creating change.
AIRS Medical secured three partnerships to expand its reach.
AIRS Medical, a pioneer in AI-powered MRI reconstruction technology, partnered with Starvision, INCEPTO and Seoul National University Hospital. The partnerships with Starvision and INCEPTO will help expand access to AIRS Medical’s SwiftMR solution — a deep learning solution that enables MRI scan time reduction — across Europe. Additionally, Seoul National University Hospital will begin using SwiftMR, making high-quality, efficient healthcare more accessible to people in Korea.
Cylinder partnered with Teladoc Health.
Cylinder, the leading virtual digestive health provider, partnered with Teladoc Health, the global leader in virtual care, to expand access to high-quality, personalized gastrointestinal care. Through the partnership, Teladoc Health’s health plan and employer customers can provide members access to Cylinder’s evidence-based digestive health platform.
HabitNu partnered with the Hispanic Federation.
HabitNu, a leader in preventative health, partnered with the Hispanic Federation, a national nonprofit dedicated to empowering Latino communities. Through the partnership, the Hispanic Federation will bring HabitNu’s CDC-recognized Diabetes Prevention Program to Atlanta, Dallas and Houston.
Imagoworks partnered with Medit.
Imagoworks, an AI-powered digital dental prosthetic design solution, partnered with Medit, a leading provider of 3D dental scanners. The two organizations will collaborate to optimize the digital workflow for accurate scanning, prosthetic design and temporary dental restoration services.
Rezilient Health partnered with TrueClaim.
Rezilient Health, a leading tech-enabled healthcare company, partnered with TrueClaim, a transparent, AI-enabled health plan administrator. Through the partnership, TrueClaim customers will have access to Rezilient Health’s comprehensive primary, urgent and multi-specialty care services.
RubyWell partnered with Caregiver Action Network.
RubyWell, an innovative company that’s paving a path to financial stability for all family caregivers, partnered with Caregiver Action Network, a leading nonprofit organization supporting family caregivers. The two organizations will collaborate to provide financial and educational resources for caregivers.
RxE2 partnered with Hawthorne Health.
RxE2, a pioneer in clinical trial services, partnered with Hawthorne Health, a leader in community trial delivery. The partnership will combine Hawthorne Health’s nurse network with RxE2’s community pharmacists, creating the largest integrated network of community-based clinical trial locations.
WovenX Health partnered with Washington Gastroenterology.
WovenX Health, a leading provider of specialty-focused virtual solutions, partnered with Washington Gastroenterology (WaGI), a provider within the GI Alliance Network. Through the partnership, WaGI will leverage WovenX’s on-demand telehealth platform to enhance GI care delivery and patient outcomes.
Seven MATTER companies reached key milestones in their business journey.
Alkeme Health named “App of the Day.”
Alkeme Health, a mental health platform that simplifies access to Black therapists and culturally aligned resources, was named the Apple App Store’s “App of the Day.”
AITRICS was recognized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea.
AITRICS, a Korean medical AI company, received a New Excellent Technology (NET) certification from the Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea. The certification will help AITRICS receive expanded opportunities for collaboration with public institutions, hospitals and government-funded projects.
Cylinder acquired Dieta Health.
Cylinder, the leading virtual digestive health provider, acquired Dieta Health, an AI-powered stool-imaging technology. The acquisition will help advance Cylinder’s goal of delivering more personalized digestive care and improving clinical outcomes.
OpenLoop Health received SOC2 Type 1 Certification.
OpenLoop Health, a health tech leader in full-stack, white-labeled clinical support solutions, received its SOC2 Type 1 Certification, reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of data security, privacy and operational excellence.
PranaQ received FDA 510(k) clearance.
PranaQ, a pioneer in AI-powered sleep diagnostics, received FDA 510(k) clearance for their TipTraQ solution, a single-point-of-contact home sleep apnea test wearable that provides comprehensive sleep and respiratory insights with minimal sleep disruption.
RevitalVision has launched in the U.S. market.
RevitalVision, a software-as-a-service digital health startup, has launched in the U.S. market with its portfolio of non-invasive technology to neurologically enhance eyesight. The company is partnering with Launchpad Vision to pilot its technology across seven regions and 20 practices in the U.S.
Rhaeos signed a lease at Fulton Labs.
Rhaeos, a clinical-stage medical device company, signed a new lease in Trammel Crow Company’s Fulton Labs life sciences campus. The lease represents an expansion for Rhaeos, who will now occupy a 7,344-square-foot, lab-ready space.
