What is patientMpower’s mission? patientMpower is empowering better outcomes by enabling patients to better manage their care & providing unique data insights for healthcare providers and researchers to improve treatments.
How will patientMpower improve healthcare? We will empower patients to better outcomes, detecting exacerbations earlier, helping providers to avoid costly readmissions. With our unique digital biobank, we will help payers and pharma understand the true value of therapies with our Real World Evidence dataset. In diseases such as IPF, we are collaborating to accelerate new treatments.
Why did you join MATTER? We chose to become a MATTER member due to the vibrant community of like-minded companies working to improve healthcare. The support and learning opportunities available through MATTER are second to none.
What is one fact people are surprised to learn about you? I’m a snow sports fanatic — but if you saw me hurtling down the slopes on a snowboard, you wouldn’t say I looked under control and would probably be getting out of the way!

What is EnviraShield Health’s mission? We create safer healthcare environments for caregivers and care receivers by mitigating the risk of nosocomial infections caused by contact with contaminated surfaces. EnviraSheild will establish a new standard of infection control and prevention that strengthens best practices and protocols in the healthcare industry.
How will EnviraShield change healthcare? We make healthcare environments safer by lowering incidences of healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs) caused by contact with contaminated surfaces. EnviraShield lowers costs of care resulting from reductions in nosocomial infections acquired during an episode of care. Infection prevention teams will be empowered with innovative products and intelligent data systems to prevent and contain HAIs in the healthcare environment.
Why did you join MATTER? MATTER affords EnviraShield the opportunity to touch the entire healthcare ecosystem needed to support our commercialization efforts. (healthcare providers, payers, investors, service providers, etc). From one central relationship, we’ll be able to interact with a broad community to validate our market positioning and attract investment capital.
What is one fact people are surprised to learn about you? I was the Creator/Executive Producer of our town’s 2-hour long historical documentary, “Discovering Deerpath”.
