Meet the finalists for the 2019 Health Tech Venture Challenge

Today, Advocate Aurora Health and MATTER announced the five finalists for the 2019 Health Tech Venture Challenge. The competition, launched in August, challenged startups to reimagine the aging experience with solutions that improve care coordination, address social determinants of health and focus on preventive care for aging adults.

The Health Tech Venture Challenge finalists will present their solutions at MATTER on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 1:00pm (CT). Following this pitch competition, one winning team will receive a $10,000 cash prize, a six-month MATTER membership and the commitment from Advocate Aurora Health to pilot their solution.

Medsense

Medsense uses attachable Bluetooth sensors and a mobile application to enable safe and stress-free medication management for individuals, families and caregivers.


MyndYou

Through machine learning and artificial intelligence, Myndyou helps healthcare providers and therapists manage and prevent general cognitive and behavioral change in aging adults, in addition to improving dementia and Alzheimer’s care.


Nymbl

Nymbl delivers validated and personalized balance training via a smartphone, achieving up to 10 times the reach and engagement of traditional balance programs.
