Equal Health — Detroit, Michigan

Equal Health helps self-insured employers offer subscription primary care to employees. Equal Health’s software solution makes it easy for employers and benefits advisors to measure coverage, set budgets, track enrollments and handle payments. The company is also building integrations into Hint Health, a platform that the majority of subscription doctors in the U.S. currently use.


KaloCyte — Baltimore, Maryland

KaloCyte is a pre-clinical biotech therapeutic company developing a bioengineered artificial red blood cell substitute. This substitute can be freeze dried for long-term storage and used for pre-hospital treatment of traumatic hemorrhage when stored blood is unavailable. Their product, ErythroMer, is a universal option for all blood types and has potential for accelerated regulatory pathways to address a critical unmet need.


Liyfe — Connecticut

Liyfe was founded to improve access to care for people living with cancer. Lyife’s oncology platform is an app-based tracking, management and education tool that patients can use to report symptoms, get personalized education, communicate with and receive care from the clinical team. The platform also has a provider dashboard for providers to manage patient symptoms, follow trends and perform analysis.


Nightingale Analytics — Ireland

Nightingale Analytics is a team of artificial intelligence (AI) specialists and software developers who have partnered with the UK National Health Service (NHS) and Ulster University to create a clinical decision support tool for the early diagnosis of dementia. Nightingale’s digital platform aims to reduce the time to diagnose patients with dementia by giving primary care physicians access to 24/7 decision support.


Penrose Therapeutx — Chicago, Illinois

Penrose Therapeutx is focusing on improving care for oncology patients. Penrose has developed a novel Mitochondrial Modifying Agent (MMA) therapeutic platform designed to generate therapies that kill some of the most difficult to treat cancers. The platform contains highly selective oral small molecules that target cancer mitochondria in a cooperative fashion, leading to necrotic cell death.


Vital DNA — Chicago, Illinois

Vital DNA aims to deliver rapid, comprehensive, medical grade test results to consumers and healthcare providers. Vital DNA is the first consumer-initiated genetic testing company that offers healthcare providers and genetic testing on an all-in-one online platform.


Vivante Health — Houston, Texas

Vivante Health provides personalized, comprehensive care and digital health solutions for people with digestive conditions. Vivante’s all-in-one digestive health program, GIThrive®, combines clinically-backed interactive tech, targeted nutrition and 24/7 personal support to improve digestive disease outcomes and reduce the cost of care for employers and health plans.


WalkWise — Fargo, North Dakota

Walk Wise has created a remote patient monitoring solution for seniors that attaches to mobility and walking aids, preventing the need for a wearable device. Using the remote monitoring platform, providers can initiate preventative care based on real-time data and caregivers can use the app to be quickly alerted in case of emergencies. WalkWise’s patented analysis methods can also screen for illness, infection or increased fall risk without user interaction.


WayForward — New York

WayForward is increasing access to mental health care by screening and triaging individual members and then delivering clinically relevant care. WayForward provides digital solutions including evidence-based self-use programs and AI-assisted behavioral health coaching combined with traditional offerings like in-person therapy that employers and health plans already have in place to support mental health.


WiserCare — Los Angeles, California & Seattle, Washington

WiserCare’s software platform combines clinical decision support and shared decision making to enable personalized care at scale. Their patented approach integrates published evidence and guidelines and individual clinical characteristics, barriers and preferences to provide personalized guidance to consumers and care teams on a broad range of decisions covering primary and specialty care, chronic and complex conditions and advance care planning. WiserCare’s programs have been independently validated to improve outcomes, increase quality and satisfaction and lower utilization and cost.
