Rhett Gustafson

EVP Finance & Strategic Development, Telemedicine Solutions

What is Telemedicine Solutions’ mission?

Telemedicine Solutions provides mobile solutions that give healthcare providers the leverage to move the needle on patient outcomes with less effort and lower risk. Each and every Telemedicine Solutions product is built by clinicians to deliver high value, workflow-centric technology that improves the care of patients and the financial outcomes of providers who care for them.

How will your product create change in healthcare?

Our company’s flagship product, WoundRounds, is already helping post-acute providers make huge leaps in patient outcomes related to wound management and wound risk prevention. When providers manage wounds effectively, their patients and care teams are happier, they get more patient referrals, they are more financially viable, and their exposure to regulatory citations, fines and wound-related lawsuits is dramatically reduced.

Our newest products help providers sustainably improve the health and wellness of their patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity through personal coaching, simply delivered via a mobile, telehealth-enabled app. These solutions help providers sustain patient engagement across the care continuum: skilled nursing, primary care and home health.

Why did you join MATTER?

We chose to join MATTER for its strong network of partners, its thriving community of innovators, and high-quality programming and events which provide frequent opportunities for education and collaboration.

How will your business create change in healthcare?

We hope to elevate the discourse and eliminate much of the confusion surrounding which health and lifestyle choices are healthy, which are not healthy, and which we just don’t know enough about. We anticipate that this will lead to a more informed healthcare consumer and ultimately improve health outcomes of those consumers.
