Every quarter, we recognize startups from the MATTER community and their accomplishments as they build new solutions that are accelerating innovation, advancing care and improving lives. Some highlights include:

Nine MATTER startups secured significant funding from venture capital and grants.
Imagoworks raised a $15.6 million Series C.
Imagoworks, a South Korean-based digital dental service startup, raised a $15.6 million Series C funding round led by STIC Ventures and K2 Investment Partners. Imagoworks will use the funds to accelerate their Dentbird Solutions, advance their growth, expand their reach and continue to deliver innovative dental solutions to their users.
Rezilient Health raised a $10 million Series A.
Rezilient Health, a leading tech-enabled healthcare company, raised a $10 million Series A funding round led by Govo Venture Partners. Rezilient will use the funding to bring concierge healthcare to more people and expand their services.
Nua Surgical raised a €6.5 million Series A.
Nua Surgical, an Irish medical device company innovating in maternal health, raised a €6.5 million Series A led by EQT Life Sciences. Nua Surgical will use the funds to accelerate the manufacturing, testing, regulatory clearance and early commercialization of the SteriCISION® C-Section Retractor, a medical device designed to address the unique challenges of C-section surgery.
Biometry Inc. raised $5 million in an oversubscribed Seed funding round.
Biometry Inc. (myBiometry), an asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) diagnostic and remote monitoring company, raised an oversubscribed $5 million Seed funding round led by Dexcom Ventures. myBiometry will use the funding to advance the development of its fenoTRACK solution, a breakthrough device empowering asthma and COPD patients with data to enable early detection of exacerbations.
PranaQ received a strategic investment from DelightRoom.
PranaQ, a digital health company diagnosing breathing and sleep disorders, received a strategic investment from DelightRoom. PranaQ will leverage DelightRoom’s direct-to-consumer capabilities to drive market traction for their medical-grade sleep-tracking wearable technology.
Onward Health received a $2.3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health.
Onward Health, a leading provider of door-through-door transportation solutions for older adults and individuals with mobility and cognitive impairments, received a $2.3 million Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Institute on Aging, an institute within the National Institutes of Health. The grant will fund a two-year study evaluating the effectiveness and impact of Onward’s transportation solutions.
Enhanced Medical Nutrition received a $503,000 grant from the Canadian Food Innovation Network.
Enhanced Medical Nutrition, a company creating evidence-based nutrition products, received a $503,000 investment from the Canadian Food Innovation Network. The company will use the funds to reach more patients, improve surgical outcomes and keep more people healthy and active.
Lura Health received a $475,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
Lura Health, a medical device company, received a $475,000 SBIR grant from the National Science Foundation. The company will use the grant funding to continue to fuel the development of its wearable salivary sensing platform that offers a seamless, non-invasive way to monitor health.
SMARTCharts received a $275,000 grant from the National Science Foundation.
SMARTCharts, a web-based application that automates clinical rehabilitation documentation and data visualization, received a $275,000 SBIR grant from the National Science Foundation. They will use the funding to transform rehabilitation healthcare by developing software that leverages machine learning to standardize and automate documentation processes, creating personalized progress visualizations and notes.
Ten MATTER companies created impactful partnerships advancing their solutions, delivering care and creating change.
AgileMD partnered with UNC Health to address IV fluid shortage.
When Hurricane Helene struck North Carolina in late September, it damaged one of the country’s largest IV fluid manufacturing facilities, causing a nationwide shortage of this essential clinical supply. During this time, UNC Health partnered with AgileMD, a clinical decision support software company. UNC Health used AgileMD’s clinical pathways to address the shortage while ensuring high-quality care, guiding clinical teams to make the best possible use of their limited supply and maximize alternative approaches.
AIRS Medical formed three partnerships to expand the distribution of their SwiftMR® solution.
AIRS Medical, a global leader in AI-powered diagnostic imaging solutions, has partnered with HealthCare Konnect (Switzerland), Iosei - Participações (Brazil) and HT Medica (Spain) to expand the reach of their SwiftMR® solution. SwiftMR® is a deep-learning solution that enables a reduction in MRI scan time, enhancing patient comfort without sacrificing image quality.
Backpack Healthcare secured partnerships to expand the reach of its mental health services.
Backpack Healthcare, a company providing accessible, inclusive and comprehensive pediatric, individual and family mental healthcare, partnered with Priority Health and Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA) affiliate VHHA Solutions. Both partnerships help expand the reach of Backpack Healthcare’s solutions.
Clearstep partnered with the Defense Health Agency.
Clearstep, a leading innovator in AI-powered smart access, triage, healthcare navigation and capacity optimization, was selected by the Defense Innovation Unit and the Defense Health Agency to power the smart routing engine of the Military Health System’s new Digital Front Door. This groundbreaking initiative aims to revolutionize healthcare access and delivery for 9.5 million military beneficiaries.
Cylinder partnered with Brown & Brown.
Cylinder, the employee benefits provider for digestive health, partnered with Brown & Brown, a top insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm. Brown & Brown added Cylinder’s app-based digestive health management platform to their robust portfolio of payer solutions and strengthened their ability to advise health plans on benefits decisions related to gastrointestinal care.
HabitNu expanded its Diabetes Prevention Program with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
HabitNu, a leader in preventive health, expanded its Diabetes Prevention Program network in Charleston, SC, as part of a $12.5 million, five-year cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The deal supports HabitNu’s mission to create a nationwide, inclusive diabetes prevention network, bridging healthcare providers, community organizations and social determinants of health services to advance health equity.
LIVEMED Telehealth™ signed a five-year deal to expand care to more than 45 rural hospitals across the U.S.
LIVEMED Telehealth™, a leading physician-led health technology company, signed a five-year deal with a network of over 45 rural hospitals across the United States. The agreement is a significant step in expanding access to high-quality healthcare in underserved communities by integrating LIVEMED’s state-of-the-art smart technology solutions with its team of multispecialty physicians.
Wellsheet expanded its partnership with Ascension St. Vincents.
Wellsheet, an AI-powered workflow solution, expanded the deployment of their solution at Ascension St. Vincents to 30 hospitals. Dr. Mario Pulido, chief medical officer, of Ascension St. Vincents, recently explained why Wellsheet has made the hospital care team’s job so much easier.
WovenX Health partnered with Washington Gastroenterology.
WovenX Health, a leading provider of specialty-focused virtual services and software solutions, partnered with Washington Gastroenterology. Through the partnership, Washington Gastroenterology will leverage WovenX’s on-demand telehealth platform to enhance gastrointestinal care delivery and patient outcomes.
Xentria entered into an exclusive license agreement with New York University.
Xentria, a clinical-stage biotherapeutics company, signed an exclusive license agreement with New York University (NYU). Through the partnership, Xentria will support the development and translation of NYU’s academic research into industry partnerships focused on new therapeutics.

AITRICS received approval from the Vietnam Ministry of Health.
AITRICS, a South Korean-based healthcare company, received approval from the Vietnam Ministry of Health for its AI-powered patient deterioration prediction solution, VitalCare.
Blueprint introduced Blueprint 2.0.
Blueprint, an AI-powered assistant for therapists, introduced Blueprint 2.0. The new Blueprint 2.0 will now automate progress notes, draft smart treatment plans and surface AI-powered insights and suggestions to enhance care delivery across the entire client journey.
Densitas® launched intelliRisk™.
Densitas®, a global leader in artificial intelligence solutions for breast cancer screening, launched intelliRisk™, its new high-risk breast cancer patient management platform.
MyndYou received SOC 2 Type II certification.
MyndYou, an AI-enabled virtual assistant, received its SOC 2 Type II certification, demonstrating their commitment to security, privacy and confidentiality.
Nanodropper was featured on Amazon Prime Video’s new show BUY IT NOW.
Nanodropper, a universal adapter that attaches to existing eyedrop bottles to reduce the size of the droplet, pitched their solution on Amazon Prime Video’s new show BUY IT NOW in front of an audience of Amazon executives and celebrity judges.
Strata Health was acquired by VitalHub Corp.
Strata Health, a leading provider of patient flow solutions, was acquired by VitalHub Corp.
